Steps to make Shrikhand barfi:
  1. Take same quantity(1:1) of sugar and chakka(hung curd) in a heavy bottom pan.
  2. Cook on low heat.
  3. Once sugar melts add saffron.
  4. Keep stirring till all the water evaporate and mixture starts leaving the pan.
  5. Take the pan off the heat. stir nicely for few more minutes.
  6. Add powdered sugar. Mix it. Mixture will turn in thick mass.
  7. Sprinkle little sugar on clean kitchen platform
  8. Transfor this mass there. roll it with rolling pin.
  9. Cut into desired shape.
  10. This barfi lasts long(more than 15 days) without refrigeration.
