The ingredients needed to make Loaded Potato Soup:
  1. Get 64 oz Chicken Stock
  2. Take 10 oz Thick Cut Bacon
  3. Get 4 lb Potatoes
  4. Get 3 bunches Green Onions
  5. Prepare 7 cloves garlic
  6. Take 1 tbs dried thyme
  7. Prepare 1 tbs Morton Nature Seasoning
  8. Get 1 tbs Adobo Powder
  9. Prepare 2 tsp Black Pepper
  10. Prepare 1 cup Sour Cream
  11. Take 1 cup Heavy Cream
  12. Take 1 2/3 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Steps to make Loaded Potato Soup:
  1. Peel & cut up the potatoes, garlic & the green onions then put to the side for later (make sure to keep bottoms of green onions separate from tops)
  2. Cook all the bacon & then cut it up into bits. Take the bacon grease & pour it into your cooking pot.
  3. Add the garlic & green onions to the grease pot & let them cook over low heat for 5-8 minutes just to release the aroma not to brown.
  4. Add the chicken stock, potatoes & dried ingredients and bring the pot to a boil. Once boiling, let it sit there for 5-10 minutes making sure to stir.
  5. Add all the dairy & 8oz of the bacon then reduce to a simmer for 25-35 minutes then blend together (immersion blender recommended but any blender will do). Serve topped with sour cream, cheese, bacon bits & green onion tops.
