The ingredients needed to make Elaichi Shrikhand:
  1. Take 400 gm Hung curd
  2. Take 1/4 tsp Elaichi powder
  3. Take 2-3 pinches Nutmeg powder
  4. Prepare 1/2 cup powderd sugar
  5. Prepare 1 tbsp Milk
  6. Prepare 1 pinch Saffron
  7. Get as needed Mixed dry fruits for garnishing (chopped/sliced)

Steps to make Elaichi Shrikhand:
  1. Warm up the milk in a small bowl and add the saffron strands and let it soak.
  2. Now in another bowl add the hung curd and whisk it.
  3. Now add the sugar and whisk the curd again so that the sugar is well combined with the curd.
  4. The consistency of the curd should be very smooth and silky without any lumps.
  5. Now add the soaked saffron milk, cardamom powder and the nutmeg powder to the curd and mix well.
  6. Add some dry fruits and mix well.
  7. Now cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator for at least an hour or overnight so that the flavours get mingled with each other really well.
  8. Before serving the shrikhand sprinkle some dry fruits on top.
  9. Serve the Shrikhand chilled in individual serving bowls.
