The ingredients needed to make Lychee and Grapefruit Agar (Kanten) Jelly:
  1. Take 150 ml Lychee Liqueur (I used Dita Paraiso)
  2. Take 2 Grapefruits
  3. Prepare 2 grams Powdered kanten
  4. Make ready 150 ml Water

This is gonna smell and look delicious. Agar (agar agar) and Kanten are a natural gelatin obtained from algae. Lychee and Grapefruit Agar (Kanten) Jelly. I made this because I wanted to eat a lychee dessert!

Steps to make Lychee and Grapefruit Agar (Kanten) Jelly:
  1. Cut one grapefruit into small pieces and squeeze the other.
  2. Mix together the water and powdered kanten in a pot. Bring it to a boil and let it boil for 1-2 minutes. Turn off the heat and add in the liqueur and grapefruit.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a glass container and let it chill in the refrigerator for an hour until it firms.
  4. It's delicious if consumed when it has hardened halfway!!
