The ingredients needed to make Fruit Yogurt Agar (Kanten):
  1. Get 1 carton Unsweetened yogurt
  2. Make ready 400 ml Water
  3. Get 55 grams Sugar
  4. Prepare 8 grams Powdered kanten
  5. Take 2 can Canned fruit

Steps to make Fruit Yogurt Agar (Kanten):
  1. Pour yogurt in a bowl. Mix with a spoon and make it smooth. Drain the syrup from the canned fruit. Add fruit to the yogurt and mix well.
  2. Combine water and kanten in a small pot and mix well. Heat in low-medium and cook until it starts to bubble to let the kanten melt completely.
  3. When the kanten has melted, add sugar and mix. Pour into the bowl from Step 1 and mix well quickly. (If you don't mix it quickly, it will become hard.)
  4. Moistened a container slightly and pour in the ingredients quickly. Leave to cool slightly and then chill in the refrigerator.
  5. This time, I used canned peach and tangerine, and added cut strawberries. I used a small can, so if you are using a big can of fruits, adjust the amount.

Agar is from Carrageenan, which is extracted from red edible seaweed (スギノリ・ツノマタ). Kanten is made of Gelidiales, red edible seaweed (テングサ・オゴノリ). Agar is clear and has a more soft smooth texture. It is used to make all types of jellies, puddings, and custards. Agar-agar is the seaweed-based gelatin I use to thicken my nondairy yogurt.

These grains can improve your mood since it’s easy for your body to digest them. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps jumpstart a rise in your blood glucose which in turn brings up your mood to a happier place.
