Eggs, you might be astonished to discover, are wonderful at battling depression. Just make sure that you don’t toss out the yolk. The egg yolk is the part of the egg that is the most crucial in terms of helping elevate your mood. Eggs, the yolk particularly, are rich in B vitamins. These B vitamins are wonderful for helping to boost your mood. This is because they help improve the function of your neural transmitters, the components of your brain that control your mood. Try eating some eggs to jolly up!
Build a trail mix out of seeds and/or nuts. Peanuts, cashews, sunflower seeds, almonds, pumpkin seeds, etcetera are all terrific for helping to boost your mood. These are two substances that boost the quality and function of the grey matter in your brain. It’s true: eating a tuna fish sandwich can really help you overcome depression.
It’s not difficult to fight your bad mood when you eat grains. Barley, millet, quinoa, etc are excellent at helping you feel happier. They can help you feel full for longer as well, which is a mood improver. It’s not hard to feel depressed when you feel hungry! These grains can elevate your mood since it’s not at all hard for your body to digest them. You digest these foods more quickly than other foods which can help boost your blood sugar levels, which, in turn, helps make you feel better, mood wise.
Green tea is really excellent for your mood. You were simply waiting to read that, weren’t you? Green tea is loaded with an amino acid called L-theanine. Studies have found that this specific amino acid can actually induce brain waves. This helps improve your mental energy while at the same time calming your body. You probably already knew how easy it is to be healthy when you drink green tea. Now you are well aware that green tea helps you to raise your moods as well!
