The ingredients needed to make Sesame Balls (Onde-Onde):

  2. Get 500 gr glutinous rice flour
  3. Prepare 100 gr granulated sugar
  4. Prepare 100 gr mashed potatoes
  5. Take 1 tsp salt
  6. Get 450 ml warm water
  7. Take 1 pack sesame seeds
  8. Make ready as needed cooking oil
  9. Prepare Filling:
  10. Make ready 250 gr peeled mung beans soak in the water more less 1 hour
  11. Make ready 100 gr sugar
  12. Get 100 ml coconut milk
  13. Make ready 1 pinch salt
  14. Take 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions to make Sesame Balls (Onde-Onde):
  1. Firstly I have to make filling. Drain water from mung beans after being soak more less 1 hr or more. Steam until soft.
  2. Mashed mung beans use a chopper.
  3. Pour into a pot togather with all ingredients. Cook and stir frequently until dry.
  4. So we can make mung bean balls. Keep aside
  5. For dough, put all the ingredients into a big bowl. Stir it using hand, until we can use it wrap the filling. Its not supposed so hard dough.
  6. Get a dough and flatten it. Then put filling inside. Roll it use hands until perfectly round. Keep aside
  7. After all done, dip a ball into the water, then sprinkle with sasame seeds. Roll it up again use the hands. Keep aside
  8. Ready for deep frying
  9. Deep fry with medium heat, so the surface look Arround perfect. Dont put so much balls into fryer. Fry until golden brown.
  10. On the platter ready for breakfast, or whenever you want 😃
