The ingredients needed to make Matoke curry:
  1. Make ready 6 green bananas
  2. Take 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  3. Prepare 1 large onion, finely chopped
  4. Make ready 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  5. Get 15 g curry powder
  6. Get 2 tomatoes, chopped
  7. Take Salt and pepper
  8. Take 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  9. Make ready 1 bunch dhania, chopped

Instructions to make Matoke curry:
  1. Wash clean your bananas, Peel and chop them into desired sizes
  2. Saute the onions and add in the ginger garlic paste. Cook for a minute.
  3. Pour in the curry powder and give a good mix
  4. Add in the tomatoes and cook to a paste. Add in the tomato paste and mix. Season.
  5. Add in the chopped bananas and mix
  6. Add in the chopped bell pepper
  7. Add in some water to just cover the bananas and let simmer till it reduces by half
  8. Garnish.serve with rice and some kienyeji greens
