Steps to make Matoke fry #Authormarathon #Mymum'srecipe:
  1. Peel, wash and dice the bananas into desired pieces and place them in a dish with cold water with salt or 1 tbsp vinegar to avoid discoloration.
  2. Cut and fry onions, tomatoes into a fine sauce then add salt and beef royco to taste.
  3. Put in your diced bananas and mix well then add water, cover the pan and let it simmer until tender then serve hot with beef stew or any stew of your choice.

These foods can help you feel full for longer too, which is a mood improver. Feeling hungry can be a real downer! The reason these grains can improve your mood is that they are not difficult for your body to digest. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps kick start a rise in your sugar levels which in turn kicks up your mood to a happier place.

Green tea is excellent for moods. You were just expecting to read that in this article, weren’t you? Green tea is high in a particular amino acid called L-theanine. Studies have found that this specific amino acid can essentially stimulate brain waves. This will better your brain’s focus while at the same loosening up the rest of your body.
