The ingredients needed to make Peanut butter matoke/plantains:
  1. Get 15-20 raw bananas
  2. Take Carrots, 3 tomatoes, 1large onion
  3. Prepare Spices,turmeric,curry and garam masala/royco
  4. Take Peanut butter

Matoke are sometimes referred to as plantains, rather than bananas because they are eaten after cooking. Plantains are relatively easy to peel, though, but matoke can't be peeled in the same way as ordinary bananas when they're unripe and the process is a little more complicated. Ideally peanut sauce matoke is made with peanut sauce that has been made form scratch as our neighbors in Uganda do, but using peanut butter is a much welcome shortcut. Instructions to make Peanut butter matoke/plantains:
  1. Boil the bananas in water with a little salt.
  2. Boil them until they are three quarter way done
  3. Transfer the boiled matoke to a tin after draining excess water
  4. In a separate pan
  5. Fry onions in a little oil and add blended tomatoes
  6. Add the spices stirring up to prevent burning,add peanut butter to the above mixture
  7. Add the boiled bananas to the above mixture
  8. Cook for a few minutes on low-medium heat
  9. Serve with beans/beef or solo

It’s not difficult to drive away your bad mood when you are eating grains. Quinoa, millet, teff and barley are all actually excellent for helping boost your happiness levels.
