The ingredients needed to make Peanut Butter Oat Snack Bar:
  1. Prepare 1 cup rolled oats
  2. Make ready 1 cup Natural peanut butter
  3. Take Half a cup dried fruits (raisins, currants, cranberries etc)
  4. Take 1/4 cup natural honey

Peanut butter, banana and chocolate are one of my favorite combinations, and I use them together as often as possible (see these muffins for proof). Needless to say the countless batches I made of these Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Oat Bars was worth the effort. My kids ask for these all. These bars are a family favorite!

Steps to make Peanut Butter Oat Snack Bar:
  1. In a bowl mix all the ingredients until they are properly mixed
  2. Take a wide plate and spread it on the plate. Use your hands to spread it and press down.
  3. Store this in the fridge for 2 hours so that it can harden and come together
  4. Remove from fridge and cut it into cubes and store it back in the fridge in a tight container. You can eat them as snacks on the go.

My kids ask for these all. These bars are a family favorite! We can devour a whole batch of them in one sitting and have another baked and ready to enjoy in no time! They're chewy with a slight crunch from the toasting of the oats as they bake and they're loaded with peanut butter and honey giving them that sweet & salty combo.
