  2. Prepare 1 rohu fish head
  3. Get 1 tsp ginger crushed
  4. Make ready 1 tsp garlic crushed
  5. Take 1 onion chopped
  6. Take 1 tsp red chilli Powder
  7. Prepare 1.5 tbsp coriander cumin powder
  8. Get 1 tsp turmeric powder
  9. Prepare 1 tsp cumin seed
  10. Make ready 1 bay leaf
  11. Get 1 red chilli

Steps to make Mung dal with fish head:
  1. Dry roast the mung dal
  2. Boil it well adding salt and turmeric powder
  3. Heat oil in a pan add the fish head marinated with salt and turmeric powder
  4. As it is fried well and turned brown,remove
  5. Now add cumin seed bay leaf red chilli whole and whole garam masalas
  6. Add ginger-garlic crushed and saute well
  7. Add oion and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder
  8. Now add red chilli Powder and cumin-coriander powder and saute adding the fish head
  9. Saute well adding the boiled dal.
  10. Simmer till the fish head is soft
  11. Serve it with steaming hot rice.
