  1. Make ready 1 big head of rohu fish
  2. Prepare 100 gm gobinda bhog rice
  3. Prepare 2 medium sized onion sliced
  4. Take 2 medium sized potato (cut small pieces)
  5. Prepare 1 tablespoon ginger and garlic paste
  6. Prepare 1 tea spoon garam masala powder
  7. Make ready To taste salt and sugar
  8. Take 1/2 Teaspoon turmeric powder
  9. Get 1 tea spoon Red chilli powder
  10. Make ready As needed oil and ghee
  11. Take 2 bay leaves
  12. Make ready As required water
  13. Make ready 1/4 teaspoon cumin seed

Steps to make Muri ghonto:
  1. Wash rice and keep in a bowl.
  2. Fry the fish head with salt and turmeric powder and keep aside
  3. Fry potato pieces with salt and turmeric powder and keep in a dish.
  4. In a pan add oil and ghee with bay leaves, cumin seed, whole garam masala and saute it. Now add onion, fry till light brown. Add garlic, ginger and chilli. Then add rice, mix the whole content.
  5. Add as required water, cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Add potato and fish head, mix with rice very well and cook for 10 minutes again
  7. Add garam masala powder and ghee mix properly. muri ghonto is ready garnish with onion and cashew, raisins.
