The ingredients needed to make Beans and Franks:
  1. Make ready 12 oz hot dogs
  2. Prepare 4 cups cooked cannellini beans
  3. Get 1 slice bacon, diced
  4. Make ready 1/2 cup diced onion
  5. Take 1 stalk celery diced
  6. Prepare 1/4 cup molasses
  7. Prepare 1/4 cup brown sugar
  8. Make ready 1/4 cup ketchup
  9. Take 1 1/2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  10. Take 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  11. Take 1/2 tsp cider vinegar
  12. Take 1/2 tsp dry mustard

Steps to make Beans and Franks:
  1. Add bacon to pan over medium heat. Once fat renders, add onion and celery and cook until vegetables are soft. Transfer to baking dish.
  2. Add sliced hot dogs to pan and brown. (I used Hebrew National beef hot dogs) Transfer to baking dish.
  3. Add beans (I used Bush's canned beans, drained and rinsed) and remaining ingredients to baking dish with hot dogs and vegetables. Add about 1 cup water. Mix well.
  4. Bake uncovered at 300° about an hour. This long low cooking time allows the flavors to blend and sauce to thicken.
