  1. Make ready 2 cup heavy cream
  2. Get 8 oz Colby Jack cheese
  3. Take 8 oz Mild cheddar
  4. Take 8 oz Smoked gouda
  5. Take 8 oz Mozzarella
  6. Take 2 tbsp Minced garlic
  7. Prepare 1 tsp Oregano
  8. Make ready 1 tsp Salt
  9. Get 1 tsp black pepper
  10. Prepare 3 tbsp Bacon bits
  11. Prepare 2 box Elbow macaroni

I made this with shell noodles, but I did not have box Mac'n'cheese so I just add more cheese and milk and it tasted so good and it was really cheesy and delicious. This is absolutely my FAVORITE mac & cheese recipe. I've given it to countless friends & family members and all of them have fallen in love with it as well. I did want to add that I put the egg in a measuring cup, beat it, and then added the milk to measure one cup because there was a lot of milk.

Steps to make 4 cheese Mac and cheese:
  1. Cut the Gouda, Colby jack, and mild cheddar into small cubes, or grate them.
  2. Grate the mozzarella
  3. In a large sauce pan, Melt the Gouda, cheddar, and Colby Jack on medium heat with the cream, and spices. Stir frequently to avoid burning the cheese onto the bottom of the pan
  4. In another pan, boil enough water for either one or two boxes of macaroni.
  5. When water is boiling, add macaroni and boil for 7 minutes. For a more cheesy dish only use one box.
  6. Strain macaroni.
  7. Preheat oven to 375
  8. Grease a baking pan.
  9. Layer one layer of macaroni in the pan, and then sprinkle some bacon bits and some mozzarella.
  10. Repeat step 9 until you're out of macaroni
  11. Pour the cheese sauce into the macaroni pan and top with the remaining mozzarella.
  12. Bake for 25 minutes
