The B vitamin family can be terrific for raising your mood. This is because they increase the function of your brain’s neural transmitters (the parts of the brain that dictate how you feel). Consume an egg and feel a lot better!
Put together a trail mixfrom a variety of seeds and nuts. Peanuts, cashews, sunflower seeds, almonds, pumpkin seeds, etcetera are all fantastic for helping to boost your mood. This is because seeds and nuts have plenty of magnesium which increases your brain’s serotonin levels. Serotonin is called the “feel good” chemical substance and it tells your brain how you should be feeling at all times. The more of it you have, the better you are going to feel. Not only that but nuts, in particular, are a terrific source of protein.
If you want to overcome depression, try eating some cold water fish. Salmon, herring, tuna, mackerel, trout, etc, they’re all high in omega-3 fatty acids and DHA. DHA and omega-3s are two things that promote the quality and the function of your brain’s grey matter. It’s true: chomping on a tuna fish sandwich can really help you overcome depression.
Grains can be good for driving away a bad mood. Quinoa, millet, teff and barley are all truly excellent for helping raise your happiness levels. Studies have shown that this amino acid essentially induces brain waves. This will better your brain’s concentration while also calming the rest of your body. You likely already knew it is not hard to become healthy when you consume green tea. Now you are aware that green tea helps you to raise your moods too!
