The more of it you have, the happier you are going to feel. Not only that, nuts, particularly, are a great protein food source.
If you want to fight depression, try eating some cold water fish. Salmon, herring, tuna, mackerel, trout, and so on, they’re all loaded with omega-3 and DHA. Some grains are actually great for driving away bad moods. Quinoa, barley, teff, millet, etc are all wonderful for helping you feel happier. These grains can elevate your mood as it’s not at all difficult for your body to digest them. You digest these foods more quickly than other foods which can help increase your blood sugar levels, which, in turn, helps make you feel happier, mood wise.
Your mood could actually be helped by green tea. You knew it had to be in here somewhere, right? Green tea is rich in a particular amino acid called L-theanine. Research has proven that this amino acid stimulates the production of brain waves. This will better your brain’s focus while simultaneously relaxing the rest of your body. You probably already knew it is not hard to become healthy when you consume green tea. Now you are aware that it helps you to elevate your moods as well!
