  1. Take 300 grams black glutinous rice
  2. Take 50 grams white glutinous rice
  3. Prepare 75 grams dried longan
  4. Prepare 1 liter water
  5. Take 10 pandan leaves
  6. Prepare 1/4 tbsp salt
  7. Get 250 ml coconut milk
  8. Make ready syrup
  9. Make ready 150 grams palm sugar
  10. Prepare 100 grams rock sugar
  11. Make ready 150 ml water

Instructions to make Pulot hitam longan:
  1. place ingredients for syrup and boil, stir till sugar dissolved. strain and set aside
  2. drain black and white glutinous rice and place in a pot with dried longan, water, pandan leaves and salt. bring to boil, lower heat and simmer untill rice is almost cooked.
  3. add syrup and contine to simmer untill rice is fully cooked and mixture is lightly thickened. remove from heat.
  4. to serve, ladle into individual serving bowls and drizzle with coconut milk to taste.
