  3. Get 1 large onion
  4. Get 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  5. Make ready 1/2 tsp fresh turmeric paste
  6. Get 2 ripe tomatoes
  7. Prepare 1 tbsp tomato paste
  8. Make ready Salt and pepper
  9. Prepare 1 bunch dhania
  10. Take 1 tbsp curry powder

  12. Make ready 3 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions to make Potato and matoke stew:
  1. Peel, wash and chop the potatoes and bananas
  2. In a large sauce pan, saute the onions
  3. Add in the turmeric and the ginger garlic paste. Let cook for a minute
  4. Add in the tomatoes and cook to a paste. Add the seasoning and give a good stir.
  5. Add in the chopped potatoes and bananas and mix till well coated. let cook for at least 5 minutes, while stirring.
  6. Add some water to the level of the potatoes and bananas and let simmer on low until the liquid reduces
  7. Garnish with some chopped dhania
  8. Enjoy
