  3. Take 2 large onions
  4. Prepare 5 stems spring onions
  5. Get 1/2 Tps ginger crushed
  6. Take 1/2 Tps ginger crushed

Steps to make Mashed Matoke Mbaazi:
  1. Under medium heat fry your onions and add garlic and ginger
  2. Let it cook till transparent.
  3. Add your Mbaazi
  4. Mix and add the spring onions.
  5. Then add the green bananas, salt and water. Bring to boil and let it cook.
  6. When its cooked tender, drain the excess liquid. I will use it when mashing.
  7. Start mashing.
  8. Mash till it becomes smooth and soft. Add little of the drained liquid if you feel ita not soft enough.
  9. Serve with beef stew and veggies.
