Some grains are truly excellent for repelling bad moods. Millet, quinoa, barley, etc are terrific at helping you feel better. They help you feel full as well which can actually help to improve your mood. Feeling famished can be a real downer! The reason these grains are so good for your mood is that they are not hard to digest. You digest them quicker than other things which can help promote your blood sugar levels, which, in turn, helps make you feel happier, mood wise.
Green tea is actually good for your mood. You were sure green tea had to be included in this article, right? Green tea is loaded with a certain amino acid known as L-theanine. Studies have shown that this amino acid essentially induces brain waves. This helps better your mental acuity while relaxing the rest of your body. You knew that green tea helps you feel healthier. Now you are aware that it can help raise your mood as well!
